Maudstairs Holding is a privately owned Canada corporation with operation throughout the world. With sales in the hundreds of millions and employing thousands of employees worldwide Maudstairs continues to expand under the guidance of it's principles John Sims and Michael Thomas.

The initial companies within Maustairs were Seabridge International which is the largest steamship agency in Canada and MTD Trading which is one of the largest exporters of meat proteins to destinations throughout the world. Over the years Maudstairs has grown both through expansion and acquisition.

In the area of food, Maudstairs operates Fromagerie de l'Alpage in Chateauguay which a specialist in the production of non-pasteurized whole milk cheeses. As well they are partner's in a beef slaughtering company located in Western Canada that produces beef that is all natural being free of hormone and antibiotics. These products are distributed in Quebec through their cold storage facility in Terrebonne operating under the name of Coolbridge.

Maudstairs is a leader in the transportation and freight forwarding industries with offices throughout North America and in the UK, Russia, Australia, Brazil, Lebanon and China.

In other industries Maudstairs purchased FRE Composites which is North America's largest manufacturer of fiberglass conduits and the manufacturer of the boom on the Canada Arm attached to space station.

They have recently entered the music business with a joint venture with Donald K Donald and represent the largest manufacturer of Natural Medicines both in Canada and for all export markets. On the real-estate front Maudstairs own and manages a number of properties in Montreal which also includes The British Empire Building in Old Montreal where they have built their flagship restaurant named Aszu. This restaurant has recently been rated as one of the top restaurants in Montreal. Maustairs and it's principles are proud to be established in the Montreal region and to help support local employment. They are also pleased to be involved in a number of local and provincial charities. Maudstairs Holdings certainly has become a global corporation but their roots are firmly entrenched in Quebec and Canada.

Les fromages et le bouf naturel sont distribués à travers le Québec par l'entremise  d'une autre acquisition de Maudstairs,  l'entreprise Coolbridge, située à Terrebonne, spécialiste de l'entreposage frigorifique et des services de  distribution.

Maudstairs est également un chef de fil dans l'industrie du transport et des services de logistiques avec des bureaux situés en Amérique du Nord, au Royaume-Uni, en Russie, en Australie, au Brésil, au Liban et en Chine.

Parmi les autres acquisitions de Maudstrairs se retrouve l'entreprise FRE Composites, pionnière dans l'industrie des composites et  leader nord-americain dans l'industrie manufacturière des produits de fibres de verre . Dans le passé, FRE a travaillé à la conception et à la fabrication du bras télémanipulateur de la staion spatiale.

Maudstairs a récemment pénétré le monde musical en se joignant en partenariat avec le groupe Donald K Donald , producteur d'événements et label de musique québécois.

Maudstairs est également le principal représentant et distributeur du plus important producteur de médicaments naturels pour  le Canada et tout le marché de l'exportation.

Divers investissements immobiliers sur le territoire montréalais font également partie du porte-folio de Maudstairs, dont entre autre, The British Empire building, situé dans le Vieux -Montréal. À cette même adresse se retrouve le retaurant ASZU, porte-drapeau du domaine de la restauration pour Maudstrairs. Aszu a récemment été reconnu comme étant un des meilleurs restaurant à Montréal.
